Welcome
According to Historica-Dominion Institute surveys, Canadians’ knowledge of our history is declining every year. In order to change this trend, the Institute has launched this new interactive website dedicated to informing Canadians of the accomplishments and legacy of Canada’s two great nation-builders, John A. Macdonald and Wilfrid Laurier.
The website encourages Canadians – young and not so young- to take our Macdonald and Laurier quiz and find out more about these two former prime ministers.
We also hosted special events in Montreal and Pitt Meadows, BC to celebrate the birthdays of Laurier and Macdonald – two important dates on our Heritage calendar.
